# Lower interchange rates

To qualify for lower interchange rates with Visa’s Commercial Enhanced Data Program (CEDP):

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**Submit enhanced transaction data through the Xplor Pay Transactions API fields when processing payments with Visa commercial cards.**

A participation fee of 0.05% of the total amount applies to eligible transactions when accepting payments with Visa commercial cards.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Xplor Pay sends the transaction data to Visa to verify whether it meets the required qualifications.**

The lower interchange rates qualification takes minimum 40 *days* from the day of commercial transaction initiation.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Visa verifies the enhanced data submissions retrospectively.**

To qualify for lower interchange rates, make sure the enhanced transaction data you submit consistently meets Visa’s quality requirements.
