Cloud EMV integration
The following steps explain how semi-integration Cloud EMV solution works:
Cloud EMV sends a card data request to the payment terminal.
The payment terminal turns on.
Xplor Pay Cloud EMV calls cloud solution services that interact with payment terminals. Xplor Pay partners with Sound Payments, which provides cloud integration with Pax payment terminals.
The payment terminal calls the Xplor Pay Payment Gateway service to request authorization approval.
Payment terminals include the terminal build coding solution, which contains the transaction-emv
service used to call the Xplor Pay Payment Gateway.
The transaction-emv
service supports cloud integration solutions for payment terminals. These solutions call the transaction-emv
service to retrieve credentials for accessing cloud services.
The transaction-emv
service supports our REST-based semi-integration transaction API to initiate a payment from your point-of-sale (POS) application.
Cloud EMV sends the card transaction response to the point-of-sale (POS) system.
The REST-based semi-integrated transaction API sends a response to the point-of-sale (POS) application, along with metadata such as order ID, invoice number, and addresses.
Xplor Pay Payment Gateway logs allow you to search for transactions by invoice number within the timeframe shown in the transaction-emv
service.
