Cloud EMV integration

The following steps explain how semi-integration Cloud EMV solution works:

1

The point-of-sale (POS) system sends a card transaction request to Cloud EMV.

See our REST-based semi-integration transaction API to initiate a payment request from your point-of-sale (POS) application.

2

Cloud EMV sends a card data request to the payment terminal.

The payment terminal turns on.

3

The payment terminal displays the payment form.

The cardholder enters their card information and submits it, along with minimal payment details—such as amount, tax, and transaction type—and optional metadata like order ID, invoice number, and addresses.

4

The payment terminal calls the Xplor Pay Payment Gateway service to request authorization approval.

Payment terminals include the terminal build coding solution, which contains the transaction-emv service used to call the Xplor Pay Payment Gateway.

The transaction-emv service supports cloud integration solutions for payment terminals. These solutions call the transaction-emv service to retrieve credentials for accessing cloud services.

5

Cloud EMV sends the card transaction response to the point-of-sale (POS) system.

The REST-based semi-integrated transaction API sends a response to the point-of-sale (POS) application, along with metadata such as order ID, invoice number, and addresses.
